Return Policy

At KIO YAMATO, we strive to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we are here to help. Please review our return policy below for information on how to return or exchange your items, in accordance with New Jersey laws.

1. Returns

a. Eligibility

- Items must be returned within 20 days from the date of purchase as required by New Jersey law.
- Items must be in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags and packaging intact.
- Sale items and gift cards are not eligible for return unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

b. Process

2. **Return Authorization**: Once your return request is approved, you will receive a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions on how to return your item.
3. **Shipping**: Pack the item securely in the original packaging and include the RA number. Ship the item to the address provided in the return instructions. You are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error with your order.


2. Exchanges

If you need to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style, please follow the return process to send back the original item and place a new order for the desired item.

3. Refunds

a. Processing Time

- Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item and notify you of the status of your refund.
- If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment within 7 business days.
- Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to appear on your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.

b. Shipping Costs

- Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where we have made an error or the item is defective.
- If the return is due to an error on our part or a defective item, we will cover the return shipping costs.

4. Damaged or Defective Items

5. Non-Returnable Item

- **Final Sale Items**: Items marked as final sale cannot be returned or exchanged unless required by law.
- **Gift Cards**: Gift cards are not returnable or refundable.


6. Restocking Fee

We do not charge restocking fees for returns, in compliance with New Jersey state law.


7. International Returns

For international orders, the return process is the same as domestic returns, but you are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for items lost in transit.
