When we began work on the KP‑269U, nicknamed Racer II, our goal was to revisit the classic aviator and strip it down to its essentials. We wanted a frame that could follow you from morning to night. Spring/Summer 2026 marked a moment when refinement, not reinvention, mattered most, and our answer was the Racer II.

A study in control

What makes the Racer II special is its discipline. Every line and proportion is deliberate; nothing feels ornamental. We chose a rich acetate colors for the front because cellulose acetate allows us to create deep colours and patterns while keeping the frame lightweight and hypoallergenic. To balance that expressive front, we used aerospace‑grade titanium for the temples. Titanium offers the strength of steel at about half the weight and resists corrosion; and our combination of beta titanium provides flexibility and comfort. By pairing these materials, we give you a palette of colour and comfort that feels much different than other frames you've experienced.
